Powerful Hydraulic Jacks: Lifting Heavy Industries and Vehicles with Ease

Hydraulic jack manufactured in India has served numerous industries for lifting great forces and heavy loads since its invention. They are commonly used in automobile industries to lift vehicles from the ground; that's why they are also known as hydraulic car jacks.

The force of the jack is calculated based on Pascal's law. The jack consists of two pistons inside the cylinder responsible for lifting vehicles or heavy loads. The small and big cylinder is connected, and

the small piston forces the fluid to lift the big piston.

A bar is placed into the handle socket of the jack, and when pressure is applied, a piston forces the hydraulic fluid and goes through the one-way valve, and then the fluid force acts to the bottom of the bigger cylinder, and the ram will go upward. Another valve is blocked, so pressurized fluid can't return until unscrewed.

Components of Hydraulic Jack

  • A Reservoir or Buffer Tank is a vessel holding the hydraulic fluid or pump oil used to transmit applied pressure from the pump to the ram.
  • Piston Pump activates automatically by moving the pump lever handle up and down.
  • The pump Lever or Handle lifts when the pump lever builds pressure in the hydraulic fluid, transferring pressurized fluid via the check valve into the main cylinder.
  • The Main Cylinder, also known as the ram, when lifting upward, extends the hydraulic jack body by the pressure of the hydraulic fluid and creates the required lifting fore.
  • Release Valve, a part that helps to release the pressure so the ram can retract and load lowered.

Advantages of Hydraulic Jack

  • High Lifting Capacity:  Hydraulic jacks can lift heavy loads, often much more significant than what can be achieved with mechanical jacks.
  • Ease of Use: The hydraulic jack is easy to use and requires minimal physical effort to lift objects.
  • Safety: The safety control features, such as overload protection valves, are inbuilt into the hydraulic jack to prevent overloading and potential accidents.
  • Compact and Portable: The hydraulic jacks are portable and compact to be transported everywhere.
  • Maintenance: Hydraulic jacks require relatively low maintenance compared to other lifting mechanisms.

Hydraulic jacks are mechanical devices that are used to lift heavy loads. These jacks are generally used in automotive industries. These jacks come in a variety of types to make working efficiently.
